Although HERO8 is water resistant, this protective housing offers added protection against dust, mud and dirt and allows you to dive underwater up to 60 meters.
 
The housing has a flat glass lens to ensure crisp, clear shots when underwater or on land.
 
If you need to adjust camera settings while the housing is attached, this also allows access to the camera touch screen.
 
Because the housing is closed, it mutes your audio, so an optional chassis rear door is included to open the microphone. However, the rear door of the frame is for ground use only as it will not contribute to protection or be waterproof.
